Hurry over to the Amador Theater for a swashbuckling good time as Pleasanton Civic Arts Stage Co. and San Francisco Shakespeare Festival team up to present Robert Louis Stevenson's classic, "Treasure Island." In this action-packed yarn, Jim Hawkins embarks on an adventure on the high seas in search of buried treasure. On his quest, he encounters Long John Silver and the pirate crew of the Hispaniola while learning important lessons about courage, honesty and true friendship. In addition to the action and intrigue, this family-friendly production features exciting combat scense choreographed by Dexter Fidler, who trained Robin Willliams in sabre and cutlass for his role in "Hook".
Performances: April 23, 24, 30 & May 1 at 7:30 pm; April 24 at 11 am; April 25, May 1 & 2 at 2:00 pm. Audience members are encouraged to bring donations of nonperishable food items to the theater to benefit The Haven Food Pantry.
